LocalHeroAI Privacy Policy

Overview

LocalHeroAI is a private personal AI assistant that runs primarily on the user's own Mac. It can connect to Google services only when the user authorizes access and requests assistant functionality that uses those services.

Google user data accessed

Depending on the permissions the user grants, LocalHeroAI may access Google account data from Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Contacts.

How Google user data is used

Google user data is used only to perform user-requested functions. Examples include reading, searching, drafting, or sending email; creating, updating, or reviewing calendar events; searching, reading, or creating Drive and Docs files; and resolving contacts for communication or scheduling tasks.

How Google user data is stored

OAuth credentials and tokens are stored locally on the user's Mac in macOS Keychain. LocalHeroAI is designed to process data locally where practical and to avoid storing Google user data outside the user's local environment unless required for a user-requested action.

How Google user data is shared

LocalHeroAI does not sell Google user data. LocalHeroAI does not use Google user data for advertising. LocalHeroAI does not use Google user data to train public or general AI models. Google user data is not shared with third parties except when explicitly required to carry out a user-requested action, such as sending an email to a recipient chosen by the user or creating a calendar event with invited guests.

User control and revocation

The user can revoke Google access at any time from their Google Account permissions page or from LocalHeroAI where revocation controls are available. Revoking access prevents LocalHeroAI from making further requests to the revoked Google services.

Google API Services User Data Policy

LocalHeroAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
